Mud Gas Separator
The liquid-gas separator is a special equipment for primary degassing of gas-invaded drilling fluid. It is a very useful mud-gas separator. The pressure of the liquid-gas separator is divided into atmospheric pressure and pressure automatic control.


Definition
The normal pressure anti-hydrogen sulfide drilling fluid gas separator is made of high-quality materials, which can effectively prevent the erosion of harmful gases and ensure the safety of man-machine production. When gas invasion occurs in drilling fluid, its specific gravity and viscosity deviate greatly, which can not meet the drilling requirements. If the drilling fluid is not handled in time, it will cause wellbore or even blowout accident. The combination of liquid-gas separator and electronic ignition device can ensure the smooth drilling process.

Scope of application
The liquid-gas separator is used in conjunction with throttle manifold to separate free gas from drilling fluid, and can be used in underbalanced drilling and drilling fluid treatment containing hydrogen sulfide gas. Control of liquid level and pressure in traditional separator


Characteristic

  1. The liquid-gas separator uses bottom drainage and sewage to control the working liquid level, so as to ensure the constant liquid level in the separator and solve the problem of sand accumulation in the tank.
  2. There is a special passage for gas separation in the liquid-gas separator tank, which makes the gas exhaust unobstructed and improves the gas treatment effect.
  3. The liquid-gas separator combines centrifugal separation, physical shock separation, vacuum separation and other separation technologies to ensure the gas separation effect.
  4. Buffer devices and replaceable shock-resistant baffles are installed at each bend of the liquid supply pipe of the liquid-gas separator, which can be periodically checked and replaced according to the wear condition, thus prolonging the service life of the equipment.
  5. The sulfur-proof liquid-gas separator of the liquid-gas separator is manufactured and treated with special materials, which can completely prevent the damage of hydrogen sulfide gas in the gas to the equipment.

Working principle
The gas-invaded drilling fluid of the liquid-gas separator enters the separator from the tangent of the inlet of the separator, and falls along the inner wall onto a series of specially designed inner baffles, colliding, increasing the exposed surface area, and flowing downward, resulting in turbulent flow, which separates the gas from the drilling fluid. Free gas is discharged through the gas outlet of the tank roof. The length of the exhaust pipe is determined and equipped by the site, and is led to the safety place. The degassed drilling fluid is discharged into the circulating tank.


Maintain
When the liquid-gas separator is not in use, the drilling fluid in the equipment is cleaned and washed with water. It is strictly forbidden to store the mud in the separator to prevent the mud from being used normally after drying and solidifying.
Installation editor
Generally, the liquid-gas separator is installed on the ground beside the mud tank. The ground is required to be level and solid, and the anchor bolt pit is pre-positioned.
During installation, the lifting lug on the top of the main body is lifted vertically to the ground and lowered slowly. Then, the steel wire rope is used to tighten the upper part of the main body from three places (uniformly distributed) to the ground to ensure that the main body is vertical to the ground, and the anchor bolts are poured and fastened.
After the installation is in place, lead the exhaust pipe to 60-80m away from the wellhead (the pipe is matched by itself). If you need the supply from the manufacturer, please specify when ordering. The slurry inlet is connected with a rotary blowout preventer or throttle manifold, the sewage discharge butterfly valve is closed, the slurry outlet butterfly valve is opened, and the pipeline is connected to the slurry tank.
When carrying, remove the manifold, loosen the tightened wire rope, hang the top of the main body with a crane, release the anchor bolts and place them horizontally. At this time, the ladder can be used as a carrier.
FLQ liquid-gas separator is a very good mud gas separator. The gas-immersed drilling fluid enters the separator from the tangent of the inlet of the separator, and falls along the inner wall onto a series of specially designed inner baffles. It collides, enlarges the exposed surface area and flows downward, resulting in turbulent flow, which separates the gas from the drilling fluid. Free gas is discharged through the gas outlet of the roof irrigation. The length of the exhaust pipe is determined and matched by the site, and is led to the safety place. The degassed drilling fluid is discharged into the circulating tank.
